Sourcing from our co-op ensures the produce you buy is grown using standards that uphold a consistent value. It is also way to support a circular economy and to build relationships with growers and suppliers that is not just based on cash transactions.

Our Nu-generative health community is comprised of businesses that provide consultant services or make wellness products sourced from our certified growers. Setup a compost & fertilizer system using practices to grow nutrient-dense food
Full-spectrum mineralization: Soil samples are collected and submitted to test for nutrient deficiencies, potential excesses, and your cation exchange capacity of your soil. This information is used to develop an amendment and fertilizer regime for your crops, soil in your fields/beds and any onsite compost or carbon amendment systems.

Restoring Nutrient Cycling & On-Farm Ecosystem Services using Regenerative Practices
An assessment is conducted to assess the health and function of your soil. This may include taking soil samples and submitting them to a lab to measure dissolved carbon and nitrogen, CO2 bursts to measure biological activity in the soil and other indicators associated with nutrient cycling.

These practices are intended to improve and reach the full potential for the properties of your soil type. These practices include plans for integrating diversity and ‘keeping a living root in the ground’ through perimeter and in-field windbreaks, cover cropping systems, and carbon amendments.

Optimized plant health & reduce disease using nutrient-dense practices
This plan focuses on a crop selection and nutrient management plan. Species are selected to provide a diversity of root structures, complimentary functions and integrated pest management. The timing of fertigation and folliar sprays are based on the growth cycle of your main crop(s), to minimize costs, and prevent off-site leaching of nutrients and sediment into our watersheds.
