Design your own food forest. In this workshop we’ll teach permaculture design concepts, including site considerations, planting on contour, plant selection, planning for succession, and spacing. This workshop is ideal for farmers interested in planting an agroforestry zone on their land or anyone with enough space to plant at least one tree in their backyard. This workshop includes one grafted fruit tree or shrub, a flat of ground cover plants (including nitrogen-fixing plants), propagation materials from our demo farm. Grafting paper and design supplies included. Those who come with the dimensions of their growing area and a soil fertility test will be ahead of the game with their design. Price $150.
